2005

It's quite difficult for me to synthesize the year that was… I don’t know if it’s because of so many things to say or for lack of it :)

2005 came in a blur… Or course there were some good shots and baloney ones! The first half of 2005 was a tragic and difficult part in so far as my hypothalamus is concern. Ha,ha… I’ve experienced a lot of ups and downs in the heart area til it finally settled on its lowest. It was the exact opposite in the social and school department though. I had an a-ok grade in my summer classes and my 1st sem classes were bearable. Got a lot of gigs goin’ which I really enjoyed :)

The second half of the year was an absolutely different thing. I got into trouble with a very, very close and special friend. I felt betrayed, crushed and alone. I even considered shutting him off but I guess you really can’t throw years of friendship easily. Good thing, Ate Ans and Joeven, my ever reliable buds, were there to give me some advise, to comfort me and to give me a kick in the shin when I needed one the most. He,he… I’ve had a lot of getaways during this part… The Caliraya thingy, Baguio YMCA, hotel operations for the barops, Dumaguete NDC and a loooot of barhoppings to name a few. I came to know a lot of cool people in the undergrad via Lucky and I’m so happy coz we really hit it off the first time! Same thing happened in the law department. I came to know a lot of cool barristers and equally cool lawmates. I also reconnected with someone from my past. The long-ignored friendship was reinforced and it bloomed into a beautiful relationship that I’m sure I’ll be thankful for the rest of my life. Ok, enough of the mush… ha,ha

In totality, I know that 2006 will be a difficult year for me. With only a year to prepare for the bar exams, attending to my social life, adjusting for the lost of people close to me who’ll be graduating this March and personal concerns, I think difficult is an understatement. But as the old adage goes… C’est la vie… such is life! And I’m ready for it… I’m ready to face 2006. YAY!
