What a week!
Been very busy studying/cramming for the finals. The only social event that i've attended was the Testimonial Dinner in honor of Chief Justice Panganiban. It was held at The Philippine Plaza Hotel (formerly known as Westin Philippine Plaza). It was a night to remember. Nice company, good food and awesome venue. It was a very nostalgic place coz I had my St. Jo Dinner-dance (normally known as JS Prom) also at Westin. Then back again to the usual readings and pressure of the finals.
Atty. Muria saw us yesterday while we're having a group study for our Evidence exam. To qoute "andame na namang nababaliw na IL students dahil sa finals. Nagsasalita na namang mag-isa. Ha,ha"... I guess he's right. Last year, he made the same comment when he saw me memorizing while facing the wall!
I more week of geekiness and loserville. Bummer!
Life is one big debate tournament. You travel for out-of-town venues, do foodtrips along the way, party during break nights, get disappointed for missed opportunities, cheer during victorious moments, cry over bad adjudication or wrong decisions, but you only need your friends and loved ones to make everything tolerable.
